LCD Screen Working Principle:
When an electric current passes through, the liquid crystal molecules change their alignment, thus affecting light transmittance.
Color filters provide each pixel with red, green, and blue colors. By adjusting the brightness of different color sub-pixels, various colors can be combined.
The backlight module continuously emits white light, which, after passing through the liquid crystal layer and color filters, forms a color image.
OLED Screen Working Principle:
OLED cells are made of organic materials that emit light when an electric current passes through them.
Each OLED cell can be independently controlled in terms of on/off switching and brightness, thus achieving higher contrast and deeper blacks.
Because no backlight module is needed, OLED screens can be thinner and lighter, and consume less power.
